Amazon is working on its own tablet, as well as an app marketplace, reports suggest.
According to TechCrunch, sources claim Amazon has been 'sending out feelers' about the app store.
No details about the tabloid were given, other than that it will run on Google's Android mobile operating system.
Amazon already has its own hardware in the form of the hugely successful Kindle e-reader, and the firm has also been working on Kindle apps.
