Amazon UK has retained its position at the head of ForeSee’s Christmas e-retail satisfaction index for the third year.
The e-tailer held on to the lead with a score of 83, the only company in the 40 surveyed that was awarded more than 80 – a figure that ForeSee considers to be the benchmark for excellence.
Play.com, which was placed second, achieved a score of 79, while Apple came in sixth with 76 points.
Out of the 40 companies listed, eight fell in to the tech category, which has seen its average score boosted by eight per cent over the same period last year, however five of the eight performed below the average for their category.
