Amazon has denied rumours that it is planning a move in to bricks and mortar retail in the UK.
According to the Sunday Times, the e-tail giant was launching a secret search for high profile retail sites across the country, as part of a move to capitalise on ‘click and collect’ services, whereby customers buy online and collect from their nearest store.
However, a spokesman for Amazon told Reuters that the group had no plans to make such a move, and refused to make any further comment on the matter.
