Acer's UK managing director and regional director, Bobby Watkins has left the company after six years to pursue other opportunities.
Watkins started out as business manager for the consumer division where he became a key member of the UK management team before being promoted firstly to UK general manager and later to group managing director for the UK and regional director for the Benelux region.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Acer and I have learnt enormously from a fantastic team. I wish all at Acer the best fortunes for their future business activity,” commented Watkins.
Watkins will be replaced by Neil Marshall, who is currently director of global sales and marketing transformation for the EMEA region. He will work with Watkins in a transition period from November 5th until a formal handover at the end of the year.
