Vendor to show off new all-in-one Android computer, touch display and at the show

Acer reveals Liquid S2 smartphone, Iconia tablet and more at IFA 2013

Hardware vendor Acer has lifted the lid on a host of new gear at IFA 2013 in Berlin – including the Liquid S2 smartphone, Iconia A3 Android tablet and more.

The six-inch 4G Liquid S2 smartphone features a 13MP camera, 4K Video, full HD, four times slow motion, full panorama 27MP photo mode and LED flash. The Android smartphone will be available at the end of October; pricing is yet to be confirmed.

In addition, the 10.1-inch 1280×800 Iconia A3 tablet will measure 10.15mm thick and weigh less than 600 grams, and sport a quad-core 1.2GHz cortex A7 processor. The WiFi version will be available in EMEA in early October for €249, while a 3G version will launch in early November for €299. 16GB and 32GB version will be available.

Other products that will be on show this week include a 27-inch WQHD LED touch display and a 24-inch all-in-one Android computer, reports Engadget. Plus, Acer’s Aspire 7 tablet is being updated with Intel’s Haswell processors and will now include an Acer active pen for use with its touch-screen.

The Acer DA241HL is the first 24-inch Android all-in-one computer with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It’s one of several upcoming all-in-one computers from Acer, which also include the "powerful" Acer Aspire U5-610, the Z3-105 with AMD’s latest A series quad-core processors and the Z3-610 all-in-one desktop.

Then there’s the 27-inch Acer T272HUL WQHD LED 2,560×1,440 panel, a ten-point multi touch display which boasts four times the resolution of HD and a 178-degree viewing angle. It also has an integrated webcam and microphone. It will cost €799 when it launches this month.

Finally, the updated Aspire R7 tablet will be available in Q4 for €999, while the Aspire E1 notebook will arrive mid-October, with prices starting at €399.
