Acer has posted yea-on-year growth of 18 per cent for 2008.
Consolidated revenue for the year was $16.65 billion, up from $14.08 billion in 2007, while operating income was $428.8 million in 2008, compared to 2007’s $310.3 million.
Despite a slowdown in the final quarter of 2008, which saw Acer’s consolidated income fall by eight per cent, it still saw a growth in operating income of 15 per cent.
Acer was recently awarded the Grand Prix at this year’s PC Retail Awards for its continued success and innovation in the trade.
