Over a quarter of iPad users never take their device out of the house, a survey has found.
The study by copywriters Cooper Murphy Webb revealed that of over 1,000 UK iPad owners, 27 per cent never take it out with them, while 35 per cent rarely do. 22 per cent answered ‘sometimes’, 11 per cent ‘mostly’ and just five per cent ‘always’.
The poll also found that the majority of iPad owners use it for less than ten hours a week, despite the fact that 24 per cent claim it is their primary entertainment device.
According to the survey, 38 per cent say the Apple tablet is their preferred device for browsing the internet, while 55 per cent of iPad owners would still rather use a laptop or desktop computer.
