Microsoft, on Tuesday, said that sales of its new operating system, Vista, have hit 88 million units.The company also said that in addition to the 88 million consumer sales, an additional 42 million volume licences have been sold to businesses. The figures are from Microsoft's first financial quarter, which ended on September 30th.
The figures mean that Microsoft has seen a rise of 47 per cent in users of Vista since they announced its previous figures in July.
