With Channel Expo 08 just weeks away, registration numbers have reached the 3,000 mark, while organisers have revealed more details of some of the key events that will take place during the two-day event."We are delighted that registrations have broken the 3,000 mark," said Charlie Beall, marketing manager in the business technology group at Incisive Media. "Such a high level of interest is a real endorsement of the strength both of our exhibitor list and the top-level education programme we've put together this year."
Following the news that Nick Leeson – the city trader infamous for bringing down Barings Bank in the mid 1990's – will be giving a keynote speech on the need for accounting safeguards, other discussion topics making up the Education Programme within the CRN How To Sell theatre have been confirmed, including 'the seven keys to sales success', 'how to sell audio-visual', and 'how to sell convergence'.
Meanwhile, amongst the companies confirmed to be putting on product demonstrations in the New Product World are Ingram Micro, Widget, Samsung and Lenovo. The demonstrations will take the form of a 15-minute display of a particular new piece of technology, followed by a question and answer session.
