Virtual desktop, application delivery and mobile device management vendor 2X Software has signed a UK distribution deal with desktop virtualization supplier Actual Virtual.
2X says it offers a range of solutions to ‘make every organisation’s shift to cloud computing simple and affordable’.
The company’s product line-up includes 2X Remote Application Server (2X RAS), providing platform-independent virtual desktop, application delivery and integrated thin client management, and 2X Mobile Device Manager (2X MDM) which allows customers to monitor and manage corporate and employee-owned mobile devices.
Actual Virtual provides resellers with products, warehousing, advice, white label engineering and post-sales support services.
"There’s a huge gap in the marketplace for feature-rich, multi-platform desktop and application delivery technology," said Actual Virtual MD Simon Greer. "We spent a lot of time road-testing different products and found 2X Software to have by far the most compelling offering."
