The ever popular MMO World of Warcraft now boasts 11.5 million users worldwide, according to the latest figures from publisher Blizzard.The user base of the Mac and PC game has been boosted by the recently launched expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King, which sold 2.8 million copies in its first 24 hours of release.
These latest user numbers cement the franchises position as the all time most popular online RPG on any format, while many have asserted the game has boosted the entire PC gaming industry.
