02 has today launched a tech support service for PCs, pitching itself against the likes of Tech Guys and Geek Squad, as well as the independent retailer community which thrives on such business.
02 Tech Support is the latest move by the mobile phone network operator in establishing itself into the PC and IT sector, having recently expanded its operations into laptop retail. The firm claims to have 'changed the image' of the technology market with its customer service focussed approach.
The service covers virus removal, software set-up, broadband issues and even problems relating to home cinemas and CCTV hardware. It will cost from £7.34 a month to sign up.
