'It's not me, it's you' she says over MacBook hack attack

Lily Allen sues Apple

Pop star Lily Allen has reportedly issued legal proceedings against Apple after her MacBook was hacked.

The Sun reported the legal spat in its Bizarre column. Apparently the cockney songstress had first turned to Apple to find out who had lifted private information, only to be told that Apple was unable to help unless legally compelled.

This isn’t the first time Apple has run afoul of the singer’s ire. Back in 2007, Allen complained in a radio interview that Apple bullied artists into providing exclusive content in order to gain visibility on the front page of iTunes.

It’s unknown how Allen’s laptop was compromised and what material was taken, much less how Apple is supposed to know.

Presumably the matter will now have its day in court so Allen can "have a little whine and a moan."
