PC World comes top in Mystery Shopper

FEATURE: Store judged to have best service when it comes to media streaming devices

PC World came out on top in this month’s Mystery Shopper, when PCR headed to Sheffield in search of a television streaming device.

The chain store was awarded a near perfect score of nine out of ten, for the sales assistant’s knowledge and quality of service.

“There was no hard-sell approach, but it was very informative,” our Shopper wrote, describing it as “a pleasant experience”.

The only negative point was the shop’s lack of variety of media streamers, offering just one Slingbox device. However, this was a criticism levelled at many of the stores the Shopper visited in Sheffield, which also included Comet, Currys, John Lewis and House of Fraser.

Well done to PC Worlds......but are there no independant shops in Sheffield that you could go to....

It would be nice to see what the local computer shop would give in ways of service.

Although PC World getting a top score is pretty amazing.
