In home services currently available, with firm promising in store services availability soon
DSGi is seeking to improve the accessibility of its TechGuys service by launching an online store for the service.
The new store means that customers will be able to buy many of the TechGuys' services online, 24 hours a day, seven day a week. Currently, only its in-home services are available online, but the retailer has promised to expand it to its in-store in the coming months.
The services currently available include TechFriend, PC Setup and Connection, wired or wireless network installation, digital streaming installation, entertainment PCTV installation, TV anywhere installation, as well as a raft of other services.

ok pretend i want to set up my wireless network because i have just signed up to broadband, i have been told the telephone sales team of techguys no longer exists. i have two choices. either go into store pay them and then ring a number to set it up. or go online.
well i cant go online, (obviously i can to write this, but what about a genuine start up customer).
webstore may have some benefits, but lacks a bit of thought planning.
book a computer repair online - oops if you need this service you need to have a working computer with internet access..
they have taken away the telesales department and added a website, abit backward i feel
i want to set up my pc as this is my first pc i am not sure what to do, - would their reply be, thats great now set up your pc, get on the internet and go to our website.
..
i cant see how techguys will market this well without informing customer to beg borrow or steal other peoples internet or pop into store when they have an issue. unless they bring out an PC type of RAC or AA service to prepay for call outs or issues. kind of like their pcperformance but with more services included
