The Brigantia group hascelebrated achieving 500 members byannouncing a raft of new vendors andservice providers.
The 500 mark was reached with thejoining, as an associate member, ofthe UK Mac-Dealer Association.
“I see additional benefits forexisting Brigantia members who servethe Apple channel,” said Brigantia’sChris Speight. “I see the relationshipwith the Mac-Dealer Association beingsimilar to that already in place andworking successfully with the PCAssociation.”
One of the key new services beingoffered by Brigantia to its members isits on-site UK reseller trainingprogramme, being run by RetailProfiling Consultants (RPC). As part ofits working partnership with theBrigantia Group, RPC aims to increasethe awareness and knowledge ofvendor’s products, services andpromotions within the BrigantiaReseller membership.
“Independent retailers historicallyhave not benefited from the on-siteaccess to key vendors that the majormultiples enjoy and have consequentlybeen operating at a disadvantage,”said RPC business developmentmanager Heidi Varley. “Thisprogramme will bring thevendor/reseller relationship muchcloser, enabling the independents tocompete with stronger productknowledge and promotionalopportunities for simply the cost oftheir time.” Vendors currently onboard include APC, Bullguard andWestern Digital.
