A source close to Andy Dow, Westcoast's commercial director, has confirmed to PC Retail that he has left the company.

The source, who wishes to remain unnamed, stressed that: "Andy left with the blessing of Westcoast."

They also confirmed that Dow won't be away from the industry for long: "He'll be working at home for a month, and will reappear in mid-December."

Westcoast was unavailable for comment.
