Urbanista releases headphones named after the city of London
Gem Distribution has announced the release of the new London headphones by Stockholm-based concept shop Urbanista.
The shop creates products geared towards the needs and fashions of urban living. Following the release of three previous headphones, all of which are named after Urbanista’s other favourite cities, comes the release of the new in- ear London range.
Each earpiece has a steel surface imprinted with the Urbanista logo. The headphone cord has an integrated microphone and a 3.5mm plug that works with most music players, phones and handheld consoles on the market.
Having the built-in microphone means that handsfree can be used when connected to a device that enables it. An adapter cable is included in the box for use with different mobile phone models such as those of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung, all of which do not use a 3.5mm plug.
The headphones come in a cufflink style box and are currently available in six imaginatively named colours – Fluffy Cloud, Pink Panther, Red Snapper, Crispy Apple, Gun Metal and Dark Clown. Each set comes with three different sized ear tips, which the firm says will help users find the perfect fit.
The London headphone series is available at SRP £44.99.
