iLuv’s Vibro II makes you feel your alarm instead of just hearing it
The IMM155 Vibro II, winner of one of this year’s CES Innovation awards, is an alarm clock that claims to make oversleeping a thing of the past.
The alarm clock dock comes with a shaker, which can be placed under the pillow of the sleeper to shake them awake when the alarm goes off. The shaker’s rhythmic vibrations are designed to gently wake deep sleepers and will be a useful aid for the hearing impaired.
The compact Vibro II will charge your iPod or iPhone when docked and features time sync, a large LCD and ten brightness level adjustments. You can choose which tune or playlist you wake up to by placing an iPod or iPhone on the alarm clock dock; those that prefer a surprise can select the FM Radio setting.
iLuv’s iMM155 Vibro II will be available from March 2012 and will have a SRP of £49.99. iLuv will also release a free app featuring over 40,000 internet radio stations and international weather information.
