The original voice tracks of Stallone and Richard Crenna, who played Rambo’s friend Col. Samuel Trautman in the films, have been used to voice their in-game doppelgangers exactly as they were in the movies 30 years ago.
Music has also been taken directly from the movies’ scores for added accuracy.
Rambo: The Video Game lets gamers play through action sequences from all three movies, and the gameplay will allow players to shoot massive guns and bows from cover, wield knives, sneak and demolish destructible terrain in authentic Rambo style.
Rag-doll physics are also present, and will send the many, many enemies flying through the air.
For consumers eager to get their hands on the game, Reef Entertainment is offering a choice of two limited edition John Rambo figurines, based on his appearance in First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II as an incentive for those who pre-order the game before release.
