Lygo announces it’s bringing a limited edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 headset from Turtle Beach to the UK
Lygo’s new headset The Ear Force Charlie aims to combine tournament-grade audio quality with the full impact and 3D positional accuracy of multi-speaker 5.1 audio surround sound. The headset is USB powered and has a quick disconnect feature to easily detach it from the computer.
It’s heavily branded with the Call of Duty motif – with both the MW3 insignia on the headset and a Call of Duty embossed headband. The Ear Force Charlie also comes with MW3 downloadable multi-media content and bonus extras.
It has eight speakers (four in each ear cup), including dual subwoofers, and is powered by a 5.1 channel amplifier with bass enhancement, which should help gamers to detect when the enemy approaches and make game sounds such as explosions more vibrant and realistic.
The latest Call of Duty game – Modern Warfare 3 – is a first person shooter where being alert to everything in a player’s surroundings is incredibly important for anyone who wants an edge over their opponents. Gamers take on the role of special forces units, armed with advanced weapons as they play through missions.
Multiplayer is hugely popular too – and another area where it is essential for players to have top-notch audio products if they want to ensure they can hear everything as soon as it happens – and what direction it’s coming from.

Consequently, Turtle Beach believes that any COD player who wants to succeed should give the Limited Edition COD: MW3 Earforce Charlie headset a try. It’s been designed for PC, but can also work with Xbox 360 if users purchase a cable kit (sold separately).
