Implies the iPhone has weak battery power

Samsung continues to mock Apple with airport poster campaign

Samsung has posted adverts around power outlets at airports publicising the Galaxy S5’s Ultra Power Saving Mode, and ridiculing the iPhone’s battery life.

After branding iPhone owners ‘wall-huggers’ in a recent televised advert, Samsung has gone one step further with new posters that publicly mock Apple.

Samsung has alleged that iPhone users huddle around power outlets, as the device does not hold the same power saving feature as the S5. The advert features the tagline: “So you have the power to be anywhere but here.”

These adverts are visible at the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and the O’Hare and Midway airports in Chicago, as well as other selected airports.

The news comes after Samsung posted several adverts in June, which suggested that the iPhone had a battery life that was inadequate.

Samsung is not the only company to mock Apple, with Microsoft releasing adverts of the Surface Pro 3 stating: “It is the tablet that can replace your laptop.”
