Product roundup: ASUS updates Transformer notebook line, Mad Catz showcases new gaming products

We highlight some of the latest tech devices from the industry.

ASUS has updated its Transformer notebook like with the edition of the Transformer Book T100HA. It comes with a 10.1-inch screen, quad-core Intel Atom x5 ‘Cherry Trail’ processors, Windows 10 and is available in white, grey, blue and pink.

The device will be available from September 30th, but no pricing has been revealed yet.

Networking vendor Netgear has launched its highest performance VDSL modem router with the Nighthawk X4S AC2600 WiFi VDSL/ADSL Modem Router (D7800).

It packs a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, built-in DSL modem, and supports Wave 2 Wi-Fi technology. It is available now in the UK and Europe and is priced at £269.

In addition, Mad Catz has unveiled a range of new devices, including the R.A.T PROX gaming mouse. The Windows 10 compatible mouse boasts a magnesium alloy chassis, a scroll wheel and patent-pending technology.

The firm has also launched the R.A.T PRO gaming mouse, which comes with a 5,000 DPI Pixart PMW3310 infrared optical sensor, on-board memory with up to three custom profiles and adjustable Precision Aim.

Finally, Mad Catz has also showcased the F.R.E.Q 7.1 surround sound headset, as part of the company’s Tournament Edition range. It features 50mm drivers, a removable boom microphone and is compatible with HD gaming consoles.

Magix has announced the release of the latest version of its video editing solution Movie Edit Pro 2016. It comes with H.265 support and high-quality image stabilisation, as well as support for 360 degree video editing.

HP has also bolstered its printer range with three new enterprise class LaserJet printers. The range includes the HP LaserJet Enterprise M506 series, the HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M527 series and the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M577 series.

Retailer Overclockers is listing the InWin 909 and the InWin Chopin chassis’. The 909 supports ATX and E-ATX motherboard with the latest USB 3.1 connectivity, features tempered glass sides and LED lighting, The Chopin boasts a brushed aluminium finish, SECC steel, and four colours of front I/O stripes.

Lastly. MMD has launched a new 25-inch monitor with AH-IPS LED display with Quad HD resolution. It boasts Quad HD 2560×1440 or 2560×1080 pixel images and uses an ultra-narrow bezel.

The display will be available to purchase at the end of September, with a £289 price tag.
