PCR Women of the Year 2017 launches

Returning for its fourth year, the PCR Women of the Year awards are back and they are bigger than ever.

Taking place on Friday November 17th at the Hamyard Hotel in London with headline partner Microsoft, the awards will recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in UK tech.

Following on from the success of previous years, we are introducing two brand new categories for 2017, including the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

Creative Marketeer

This category recognises successful, creative and original marketing campaigns over the past 12 months from August 2016 – August 2017.

PR Powerhouse

Getting breaking stories into the press, knowing all the right journalists, and explaining the ethos and mission of a tech company to the Channel in a clear and engaging way are all in a day’s work for the winner of this award 

Rising Star Award:

Tech’s future female leaders are starting now and this award highlights the young guns entering the industry with a bang.

Sales Brilliance Award:

Smashing targets and exceeding expectations – the winner of this award will be able to demonstrate 12 months of spectacular sales success. 

Business Mentor Award

Inspiring younger generations as they start their careers in tech lies at the heart of the Women of the Year awards, and the Business Mentor shines a light on a real standout story.

Technical Excellence Award:

** NEW FOR 2017! **

This award looks to recognise women in the Channel who work on technical projects, from front-end to back-end, ranging from programmers to project managers and everything in-between.

Lifetime Achievement Award

** NEW FOR 2017! **

This award, chosen by the PCR editorial team and PCR Women of the Year judging panel, recognises a leader who has made outstanding contributions to the industry and paved the way for women in the UK tech industry throughout their career.

This award will highlight a ‘game changer’ in the IT industry. The winner will be a champion of women in IT, and their actions will have consistently benefited and empowered women in tech.

PCR Woman of the Year

PCR Woman of the Year looks to recognise an outstanding leader who has demonstrated a commitment to entrepreneurship, financial success, corporate social responsibility, campaigning, and being a role model.
