The CEO of Nvidia, Jensen Huang has told investors that the company has become the number one supplier of graphical hardware in both the desktop and laptop markets.
During last week’s investors conference call, Huang said that the vendor had the dominant market share in both sectors. Some reports are sceptical of this claim though, citing that AMD’s subsidiary, ATI would have had to have lost between 20-30 per cent market share in order for Huang’s claims to ring true.
Nvidia’s graphics cards, which include the GeForce and it’s mobile variant GoForce, have been performing well recently although if the shift toward using Nvidia graphics cards is true, then it would represent a monumental shift mobile graphics.
