Former Ingram Micro UK executive Nabil Hadi has left the distributor to lead electronics manufacturer AOPEN’s business in the UK.
Nabil – included in PCR’s 2015 30 Under 30 earlier this year – started out at Ingram’s ProAV division as a product manager, and within a year became one of the youngest business managers at Ingram Micro UK.
He has now left Ingram and has been appointed country sales manager for AOPEN in the UK, which specialises in ultra small form factor computing (for home and business) and touch display technology for digital signage, kiosks and POS.
Nabil will be leading the growth plans for AOPEN in the UK, with its range of Digital Engines, Etiles and commercial chrome devices in partnership with Google.
AOPEN is continuing to expand its products and services in other vertical markets such as retail, transportation, automation, hospitality and medical. It also offers a product platform for green computing.
