HP unveils Bang & Olufsen EliteBook, outlines Windows 10 services

HP has announced a line-up of new devices and services to help businesses prepare for Windows 10.

One such device that will come equipped with the new operating system (OS) is the business-class notebook Bang & Olufsen limited edition HP EliteBook Folio 1020.

The new device comprises a variety of features, including Cortana and Skype for Business, as well as Bang & Olufsen audio. It also boasts dual-array microphones, noise cancelling software and an HD webcam.

The device will be available in September with prices revealed closer to the time.

In addition, HP has announced the HP Pro Tablet 608, which comes with an aspect ratio of 4:3 and is available today with prices starting at £11.61 plus VAT per month.

HP is also offering a range of security and manageability solutions for businesses, including HP Client Security, Multi-factor Authentication and HP Touchpoint Manager.

Frank Brassart, director, mobility business unit, printing and personal systems at HP EMEA, said: “Our customers have told us that security continues to be their top concern and the changes in the security landscape have them looking for ways to protect their devices and data.

“The security features in Windows 10, coupled with our stylish and secure commercial devices help customers’ protect their organisations and maximize employee productivity in form factors users will love.”

Plus, a variety of support and services are also available today for businesses, and specifically for SMBs HP is offering an HP Subscription, which allows customers to access the latest PC technology for a monthly fee.

For larger businesses, the company is offering a full suite of services, including client configuration and deployment services, which will help customers migrate to Windows 10.

In other Windows 10 news, Microsoft’s coporate VP Nick Parker will take to the stage at upcoming trade show IFA to showcase new Windows 10 devices.

In a keynote speech named ‘Windows 10 Lights Up New Devices’ scheduled for September 4th, Parker will demonstrate new devices from tablets and two-in-ones to gaming devices.
