Tech-equipped cube allows tablet gamers to roll in the real world

Hama signs Dice+ digital die distribution deal

Hama has signed a distribution deal with Game Technologies, the firm behind the Dice+.

The Dice+ is a tech-laden and Bluetooth-equipped iteration of the traditional board game die.

The cyber-cube allows players to connect wirelessly to compatible games on iOS and Android tablets, letting them roll the illuminated die to roll in-game.

The six LED-lit faces are touch-sensitive and able to glow in a variety of colours.

The durable digital die includes a bundle of six supported games, and can alternatively be used as a handheld motion controller for games such as flight simulators.

The battery of the Dice+ lasts for up to 20 hours on a single charge, restored via a microUSB cable.

The Dice+ is available now from Hama, with an RRP of £29.99.
