GTA V tweak comes from a community-developed tool that forces VR support into games

GTA V for PC gets the Virtual Reality treatment

A number of videos have been released showing GTA V for PC being played using the Oculus Rift VR headset.

It is the result of a hack from VorpX, a community developed tool that forces VR support onto games. This has previously been done within BioShock Infinite, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield Hardline.

The first person mode on the PC version of GTA V offers an ideal opportunity for gamers to really get an idea of what virtual reality is capable of.

One video sees virtual reality system Virtuix Omni being used to play the game. The system straps people on to a multi directional treadmill to play the game.

In other GTA V news, players in Poland were given a treat as retailer gram.pl gave selected customers a special delivery, where a ‘beautiful woman, a gangster and a motorcyclist’ handed their GTA-shaped video game package over in person.

See coverage of the deliveries below.
