Components vendor Gigabyte has signed a deal with CMS Distribution to exclusively supply Gigabyte Servers in the UK and Ireland.
CMS will bring the enterprise product range to resellers, including a server class range of motherboards, bare bones server chassis and a range of server solutions supplied with Intel Processors. The options will include E5-1240V3, E5-2630-V2, E5-2630-V3, E5-2603 & E5-2603-V3 and Windows Server 2012 OS.
Thomas Yen, sales director at Gigabyte, said: “This is an exciting start for our plans in EMEA; CMS is a perfect fit for Gigabyte. Its product knowledge and relationship with key resellers will help us develop the market of the UK & Ireland."
Andy Bass, sales and marketing director at CMS Distribution, added: “The addition of Gigabyte into our product portfolio is part of our strategic plans to add server technology to our product suite.
"There will be a number of strategic partner announcements from CMS during 2015, Gigabyte is the first. This agreement will generate new business for both parties and allow us to bring a leading motherboard and server manufacturer to the UK and Irish market."
