UK-based video game etailer Hitari has launched a PC-centric site, and has revamped its existing site.
Following the success of its PC components and accessories category, the etailer decided to launch Hitari Technology, a site fully dedicated to PC components, equipment and stationery.
Kamal Hitari, owner of the Hitari website, said: “To celebrate our 5th anniversary this January, we have decided to build a brand new Hitari Technology website, as fully dedicated PC components, equipment and stationery web store to serve businesses and individuals looking for a competitive offer and great customer service.
“Hitari Technology currently has an initial portfolio of over 62,000 products so you can be assured to find whatever you are looking for in technology from USB dongles to a server cabinet and everything in between.
“We are committed to increase the number of items listed on the next 12 months to over one million products as we continue signing up more vendors with new and exciting products to offer.
“For Hitari Tech, we went for a simple and easy on the eye layout keeping up with the same theme as Hitari, but adding a few more powerful functionalities and tools to cater for different customers requirements. Plus a large search box and easy to navigate categories to provide an enjoyable pleasant shopping experience.”
Since launching in 2010, the original site has grown from selling games, accessories and consoles, to adding home appliances, toys and gadgets to its now 26,000 strong item list, all sourced from UK-based vendors.
Hitari was also shortlisted in various awards including Nectar Small Business award 2011 and MCV Awards 2013. Also, selected as the fast-growing indie retailers 2012 by MCV Magazine.
