Exertis Micro-P adds new B2B Value Added Distributor structure

Following the acquisition of Cohort Technology, Exertis Micro-P has announced its new B2B Value Added Distributor (VAD) structure.

The structure enables the distributor to present two distinct B2B divisions to its reseller partners: ‘Volume’ – headed by Phil Brown, director, Exertis Micro-P, and VAD – headed by Cohort Technology’s managing director Grahame Smee.

The VAD structure now comprises four key areas: Unified Communications (UC), Security, Specialist Software and Services.

“We are looking to add more value to what we already offer. We have three sales channels in Retail, B2B and Telco, and we’re promoting services, services, services, all the way through,” commented Paul Bryan, Exertis Micro-P’s UK managing director.

“By combining the reach of Exertis Micro-P with the specialisation of our VAD business, we offer our vendors and reseller partners a unique proposition,” added Grahame Smee.

“As a result, we are already seeing gains in certain growth areas. We have the benefit of some of the ‘best of breed’ vendors in our key focus areas including Forescout, McAfee, Dell Security and Shoretel. We will add more soon to complete our offering.”
