Exertis appoints new marketing director

Exertis has appointed Fiona Cooke as the company’s new marketing director.

Cooke joins Exertis from Microsoft where she spent over six years in sales and marketing roles in the UK OEM team and the EMEA Retail Division.

Prior to this, Cooke was the general manager for marketing in distribution for six years, having worked at C2000 (now known as Tech Data). She has also worked for firms like HP and John Lewis.

She will be based at Exertis’ Basingstoke office with immediate effect.

Cooke said: “I am really thrilled to join Exertis at this pivotal time and to have the opportunity to be part of the company’s next phase of growth and success.

“I look forward to helping take the Exertis brand and marketing from strength-to-strength in line with the company’s long term goals.”

In her new role Cooke will lead the marketing function for Exertis, as well as leading and developing the company’s marketing strategy.

Gerry O’Keeffe, managing director at Exertis UK and Ireland, added: “Fiona’s channel knowledge, marketing experience and track record of success, combined with her enthusiasm for achieving exceptional results, makes her an asset to an already capable marketing team.”

Kati Cheetham also recently joined Exertis as head of purchasing.
