Distributor Entatech is confident it’s the number one PC gaming distributor in the UK tech channel, despite increasing competition in the sector.
Rivals such as VIP Computers, which has upped its focus in the PC gaming space over the past couple of years, Exertis Gem, which supplies the Xbox and other accessories to retail, and Northamber, which has recently entered the PC gaming space on the distribution side, are all doing well in the space.
But Entatech director Jon Atherton is unfazed by the competition.
He said: "We have put in a great amount of work into our PC gaming portfolio over the past 12 months, cementing Entatech as the leading PC gaming distributor in the channel.
"EntaLive Play will only build on this further, offering vendors and resellers a chance to further their business – and enjoy some gaming on the side."
The news comes as Entatech promotes its upcoming EntaLive Play event to be held at this year’s Multiplay i52 gaming festival on August 21st, with the consumer show running from August 22nd to 25th.
Entatech’s gaming partners include AMD, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Mad Catz, XFX, Arctic, Hercules, PowerColor, PNY, Kingston, iiyama, Corsair, ASRock, Cooler Master and Thrustmaster.
