CompTIA has announced the launch of its Future Leaders Community, aiming to bring together younger members of the IT industry.
The initiative connects members from the IT industry who are 35 and under, and looking to grow their careers and connect with others.
More than 50 people have joined the initiative, which is the 10th group established by CompTIA.

“They want to learn about the channel and the industry; about how to conduct themselves in a business environment; and how to put themselves on a fast track for career advancement.”
Some of the issues the Future Leaders Community hopes to cover include, what the new demographic means for IT consumption patterns.
Rory Jackson, senior network engineer at Business Continuity Technologies and member of the Future Leaders Community, added: “We’re very anxious to get more involved, to network and collaboratively work on opportunities”
