AMD acquires HiAlgo

AMD has announced that it has acquired software developers HiAlgo. HiAlgo specialises in creating PC gaming technology for Radeon RX Series GPUs which increase efficiency and improve game experience consistency.

Raja Koduri, senior vice president and chief architect, Radeon Technologies Group, AMD said: "HiAlgo embodies our spirit of passion, persistence and play by delivering a number of creative approaches to software that improve gamers’ experiences, and helps future-proof the GPU."

Entatech announces exclusive pet GPS distribution deal

Entatech UK has revealed its exclusive distribution agreement with pet GPS pet tracking manufacturer Pettorway. Pettorway’s products include the Z1 Data Logger and Z3 GPS + Wi-Fi Pet tracker.

Azlan offers HPE Cloudline servers to European MSPs

Azlan is to distribute the latest HP Enterprise (HPE) Cloudline ranger of servers to managed service providers (MSPs) across Europe.

Azlan director Steve Cant said: “They offer an excellent core specification and are designed to be scalable and resilient. HPE also offers a fast turnaround on build-to-order, so they can be deployed at relatively short notice.”

He added that “MSPs are experiencing rapid and sustained business growth and they need the most stable platforms for their services".

Tech Data Mobile partners with Compare52.com

Tech Data Mobile has formed a partnership with airtime comparison specialists Compare52.com. Compare52’s software enables resellers and retailers to offer airtime additions to mobile phone and device sales.

Simon Smale, Director of Business Development and Services at Tech Data Mobile, said: “Compare52 is a simple and elegant way to sell airtime, without all the complexity of setting up agreements with providers or any complex order processing.” 

Smale added that resellers will receive commissions on any airtime sales they make.
