EA and PC maker Origin team up to take gaming APC around Australia in 2014

Battlefield 4 LAN party takes place inside military ‘Armoured Division Tank’

EA and PC maker Origin have turned a military Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) into a mobile LAN party.

As part of the marketing campaign for Battlefield 4, EA’s Australia arm and the PC manufacturer Origin – which happens to share its name with EA’s online distribution service – have equipped the APC with six gaming computers.

Dubbed the ‘Battlefield 4 and Origin PC Armoured Division Tank’, the tightly-packed machine will roll around Australia in 2014, in order to offer the chance to play Battlefield 4 to those concerned about rocket attacks should they play at home.
