Amazon has released its own app rivalling Dropbox, which allows users to access documents saved in its Cloud Drive service.
The Amazon Cloud Drive app is available for Android, iOS and Kindle devices, which lets users view all documents stored in their Amazon Cloud account.
Documents can be accessed anywhere when users are logged in to the app, which also works in conjunction with the existing desktop cloud client.
The idea behind the app is similar to the likes of Dropbox and Google Drive, however users do not need extra supporting apps to view content.
For example, if they wanted to view a video they can do so using Amazon’s app alone.
Users can also purchase an unlimited amount of storage for $60 (£39) a year and unlimited photo storage for $12 (£8) a year, plus users can also snap up both for a price tag of $6 (£4) a month.
This news comes after Amazon revealed it will be a launching a Prime Day to celebrate its 20th birthday.
Prime customers will be able to get their hands on various deals that start every 10 minutes, as well as lightning deals available in every department.
