Acer is expanding its professional desktop PC range with the introduction of the Extensa EM2 series.
The EM2 targets SMBs and promises "increased multitasking performance with manageability and security features". It comes with a choice of 4th generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3 or Intel Pentium and Celeron processors.
It starts from £299 and is available in the UK now.
The EM2 boasts memory of up to 8GB and up to 2TB of storage paired with Intel HD graphics 4600/4000. Customers requiring more graphics performance can choose between AMD Radeon or Nvidia GeFore graphics to boost performance.
There’s dual monitor support thru the DVI-D port, six USB ports, VGA port and optional serial port.
"For small businesses, who have limited IT support, but who need robust security features, the Extensa EM2 series includes Acer Office Manager to deploy security policies, remotely manage assets and schedule maintenance tasks," said Acer in a statement.
"The Extensa EM2 ships with a one year standard warranty, which can be extended to up to five years with the Acer Care Plus program that provides a priority repair service, or optional on-site repair with the next business day service."
