This is the fourth European Event for the Electronics Retail Summit and the 12th version that Levin Consulting and ECRM have run together globally - it promises to be a third bigger than last year.
The European Retail Summit (ERS) offers vendors with innovative and up-to-the-minute technology solutions from the Accessories and Peripherals Categories a chance to meet European retail buyers for this category. These key retail and e-tail buyers with handpicked value added distributors from across Europe are looking to find the products that will shape their categories in the coming year.
"Accessories and Peripherals is probably one of the most important category areas for a retailer as they offer not only great margin and up-sell opportunities, but consumers will often purchase multiple add-ons for each consumer device, making this area a key profit centre for any retailer," said Adam Levin – CEO of Levin Consulting.
The organisers say that attendees will be able to achieve in two days what could have taken them months or a year to do normally. The show aims to bring the newest trends and innovations to the Accessories buyer in one place, enabling them to be reactive to the market place in the coming year.
The two day event is solely focused on “doing business”. The firms promise that everybody attending from both the vendor and purchasing side will be a decision maker. They hand pick and match all the vendors and retailers and say there will be no less than 40 meetings in two days for the retailers and distributors.
All the meetings are arranged for the retailers and the distributors in advance. The event is said to be very fast paced, with condensed meeting times and private meetings in separate hotel suites. Each vendor has their own suite to showcase their products and the buyers move between suites every 20 minutes.
